Santa Fe steakhouse in Albertville

We were immediately seated upon arrival,our food however took a good bit longer. Our waitress was super sweet and did an amazing job...can't recall her name, but she worked an additional job at a nursing home. The food was good, although they were out of sirloin at the time of our visit.

So I gave Sante Fe another chance and they didn’t disappoint. Service was great. Food was excellent. We got two cheesy burgers. Ordered one medium and one medium well. They were cooked perfect. The rolls and butter were delicious. I’m glad I gave them another chance.

Enjoy the food, the atmosphere, the fellowship - good food reasonably priced. Jennifer is the gem of the restaurant. But, they're slow more times than not.

Ordered takeout from here because online it said takeout only. When we arrived we noticed that quite a few people were dining in. According to the online menu, my chicken fried steak meal was supposed to include gravy, and I received no gravy. The menu said that mashed potatoes were included with the chicken fried steak, I didn’t get that either. They also didn’t give us plastic forks or knives, so I ate my chicken fried steak with a hotel fork. The food tasted pretty good though.

This I was the first time we had been to this location. The enchiladas were good. The steak tips with onions, peppers and white American cheese were cooked medium, as requested, but they were peppery but bland. I love potatoes, but the Santa Fe potatoes were dry and tasteless, BUT it was worth the trip for the Texas toothpicks and, the yeast rolls were fresh baked and delicious. (If you don’t like cinnamon butter ask for plain) The server was very bubbly and all smiles but was not very attentive, he did not come by our table again until he brought our check. (It was mid afternoon on a Tuesday and not busy at all) For the price we paid it was a bit disappointing.
